When he entered Cherry Hill’s drawing he said “I’m going to win the antiquing weekend”. I laughed and told him his chance is slim with all the entries, but sure enough he won.

CHERRY HILL EXCLUSIVE LADIES LUNCHEON

Cherry Hill will be sponsoring an exclusive one of a kind ladies luncheon on March 7, 2009 at the DeSoto Restaurant in Arcadia. This is an event not just a lunch and will take place noon to 3:00.

12:00 The fun will start at noon with a shopping spree which will include JEWELRY, LINENS (tablecloths, doilies, runners, etc), and FAMOUS “MARC ART” POTTERY. You won’t even have to drive from store to store. All this right at the luncheon. Purchasing will be easy since we except cash, checks and Mc/Visa.

While you are shopping you will also be able to sample Jalapeno Pepper Jelly, Coconut Toast Spred, Sweet Vidalia Onion Relish, and Honey Mustard Pretzel Dip.

1:00 The luncheon will start at 1:00 which will include salad greens topped chicken salad finished off with a delicious balsamic vinaigrette dressing, rolls, and muffins. When you think it can’t get any better you will have a pick of 3 luscious desserts, (all 3 will be the best pick).

2:00 An exclusive presentation from Susan Wellington Walker discussing Quilts, their history and lore, dating, patterns, and fabrics. Feel free to ask questions or bring a quilt or two for discussion.

Every guest will leave with a wonderful gift bag full of goodies, coupons, information plus lots of fond memories. Of course there will even be door prizes. You don’t want to miss out on these.
