Unusable Toasters

Unusable Toasters

Every home has a kitchen, every kitchen has cookbooks, but not every kitchen has a cook. What do you do with your cookbooks? Find bookends. What better bookends but old toasters. Find two toasters, (don’t have to match), place on counter, display cookbooks between them. You’re done. Great kitchen cookbook bookends. My friend Marilyn has a cookbook collection but doesn’t ever cook. Actually she just eats healthy drinks, salads, etc. She thinks the cookbooks are so pretty displayed on a shelf.

Old unusable toasters are easy to find. Toasters from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s are the easiest to find. Go to any resale shop, flea market, etc. The older the toaster the harder to find and the more expensive they are. Don’t fret if your toaster doesn’t work or doesn’t have a cord. They are easier to display without a cord. Vintage electronics are very collectible
