Marc is a entrapauner, motivational speaker, and talk show host, artist, upcycle/recycle artist.
He has had an antique and upcycle art and furniture business in one way or another since 1980. Marc started to paint old delapadated furniture which give it new life even when he was in high school and has been using rusty old metal tractor parts and indoor items to decorate his gardens since in grade school.
Marc has always looked at everyday, typical items has seen new uses for them.
He has done hundreds of speaches to church groups, ladies clubs, and in his stores for over 13 years on topics
such as decorating, art, gardening, furniture painting, painting, short story writing, antiques and is a motivational speaker.
Marc started out writing short articles for his website www.CherryHillAntiques.com and ended up writing for 3 newspapers and has self published 2 books containing his short stories, antique and decorating articles and both include his family, friends, customers and antique merchants favorite reciepes.
In 2003 Marc created his website www.cherryhillantiques.com which grew to be over 600 pages and recieved over 500,000 hits monthly. It was the largest antique & art website in the country. Not only did it contian product for sale, but also had articles written by Marc, decorating ideas, recipes, history of Cherry Hill Antiques, history of the towns his store was in, and fun facts of Florida. Fun facts of Florida tell how many cities in Florida recieved their names. In 2017 he decided to update website to be seen on portable devices and is almost finished, but useable.
As a way of helping people understand the love of antiques, vintage, decorating and gardening he started his talk radio show “Marc Speaking”. The shows premice is to introduce listeners to new ideas, new people and new charities so they can try something new. My favorite saying “You can do it”. He wants everyone to try something new whether it is going to a play, planting a planter with flowers, taking an art class, volunteering somewhere, writing a short story about your family or event, or just adding 2 red throw pillows to your couch. It isn’t hard and “You can do it”.
He loves to have special guests on his show who have changed their lives or can help you change your life in a small way. People who will introduce listeners to simple easy ways to change their lives a small bit at a time such as writing, gardening, decorating, going to new place or event, or even raising Alpacas and Llamas. Ways you can change your live in a fun and easy way. Everyone can use a change one way or another.
Check out his website still being finished and being updated but has articles and pics of talk show topics. Listen to show while your on my home page looking at pictures and articles of items I’m discussing.
